Reflection:

What?

During this week, I tried my best to achieve the literature review due at the end of this week. This week was challenging with the assessment and all the materials we have to read.

So What?

During the previous weeks, I read about the methodology for writing a literature review and began working on completing it. My original plan was, to begin with, a literature search, which proved to be a massive amount of work. I used keyword search techniques to ensure I received the desired results. In addition, I spent considerable time reviewing the bibliographies of the materials to locate relevant material.

I began skimming the abstracts, introductions, and headings after I had completed all the reading. By doing so, I determined whether the material was relevant to the literature review. My initial reading was followed by the process of tagging the materials with relevant tags, which I could use later to filter the articles based on the topic and theme.

What next?

Now that the first assignment is ready and submitted, I will have to focus on the next one which will be a research proposal. I have never done a research proposal. It will be a good challenge to tackle. I will need to find some documentation to better understand what a research proposal and its purpose is.
