Network and Information Security Management: History & Definitions

During the first week, I had to contact other students to create a group for the module’s project. That was quite stressful as we had to quickly act in order to start working on our project. We all decided to create the team A: Gennaro, Alexander, Uzayr and I.

During the first and second week, we had to settle a few points such as:

• Communication
• Collaboration
• Meeting’s time
• Team roles
• Team contract

We started this module by having a brief history and basics of information security management. I found it interesting to get a better understanding of where this discipline came from. I feel this module will be crucial as cybersecurity is a discipline to master nowadays for an organisation. I understood the differences between a threat and vulnerability and other key concepts within it.
